Oh Christmas Tree!

Merry Christmas to All!

Noah and I were so excited to set up our first Christmas tree! We only encountered a few problems... like not having a tree stand. Once they were resolved we enjoyed our lovely tree for half of December.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope it is full of love, joy and family!

a big announcement

Hello everyone!

School is finally over and what a semester it has been! I have loved going to school, loved taking my last final ever, loved breaking up with the testing center. What a ride it has been. Now I just have one more semester until I officially graduate. I am excited to tell you that this next semeseter I will be student teaching at Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs!!! I will be teaching Health and ESL, and I couldn't be more excited!

I have wanted to teach health since I was in high school, and I can't believe that the time has finally come!

A little bit about the school:

It was built in 2009
It serves the communities of Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Cedar Fort and Fairfield
The school has over 1750 students
They are the home of the Thunder!

I am so excited and know that this semester is going to be a fun and challenging one!

What's for dinner?

Hi all! I know 2 posts in one day?! I am on a roll.

I just wanted to share this delicious dish that Noah and I made for Sunday dinner.

Thanks to Emily pinning this wonderful idea onto Pinterest, I decided I had to try it out.

Corn and Potato Chowder
It was so tasty and it is definitely being added to our list of menu ideas.

Check it out:

** note: it says to cook it for 6 hours on high, but ours was done great at 4 hours.
We also added peas to our and left out the bacon.

Enjoy!
