It is Earth Day!!! and some randoms... and the end of the school year!

Hello Everyone!

First off, Happy Earth Day! I love Earth Day, and while I haven't done anything "earthy" yet, it has been a great day, cold, but fun. Everyone is moving out of my apartment, so we have just been having a party throwing everything imaginable away (kind of contradictory to Earth Day...)

Well, I thought I would update you all on a little bit of my happenings that have been going on the last crazy month of my life.

1. Goodbye party at the MOA. I can't believe that after 2 years, I am saying goodbye to the museum. I have really come to know my inner artsy-ness. I came to love paintings and be able to talk to people about how they were painted, their meaning, etc. I have LOVED all of the girls that I have worked with and become great friends with. I will miss them all SO much, and while I am still working a little helping train my replacement {kelly}, I feel like I am quickly fading from the MOA.

{Love these girls}

2. The end of the semester just happened, which also meant the end of floral design. I loved this class... except the tests... this was my last arrangement that I made. I loved the color combo that surprisingly came together. I loved taking this class with my roommate Rachel. Go School!

3. I had my last Art Exhibit opening at the Museum, Matter of Words. We had a casual opening with pretty flowers, a jazz guitarist, and lots and lots of brownies and lemon bars... and by lots, I mean like oh, about 1,000 left over!!! Needless to say, my roommates and ward ate plenty of them over the next week.

4. Craft day happened at my house on a cold, snowy, April Saturday. It was so much fun to just relax and be creative and forget about school for a little bit. Here are some of the cute headbands that the girls created! Love it.

Life is so great right now! I am trying to take a stay-cation in my own apartment before school starts again on Tuesday... go Spring Term. This has been such a hard school year, but probably one of the best school years that I have ever had at the same time.

I have really learned that Heavenly Father knows who we are and exactly who and what we need in our lives at the perfect time. I love all of the people who I have met this year, and all of the relationships I have been able to build and strengthen old relationships even more.

My motto for this winter semester has been "I can do hard things." and guess what, I totally can. Life is hard sometimes, but that is what makes us stronger, and better. Change is constant.

Where has the time gone?

Seriously, time has been flying so so so fast the past month! I cannot believe that it is already April 17th. I feel like just yesterday it was snowing and cold... {oh wait.. it was yesterday ;).. }

Anyway, a lot has happened in the past few weeks that I want to share, but I have this yucky stats final hanging over my head still- but, it is the last final I have to take. This week has been crazy, but the end is in sight. i.can.do.it.

That is the short update for now. But, just wait, there is a good post in store for you if you can just hold on until Wednesday!!!

Life is good, and it is hard. But the awesome thing I have learned this semester is that I CAN DO HARD THINGS!!! more to come, stay tuned :)

Love!
