a little sneak peek...

This morning I was able to take pictures of one of my best friend Aubrey's baby. He is two months old and is starting to smile! Here is just a sneak peek of this shoot. Enjoy!

What the giant microwave!?!

Yesterday I tried to warm up my leftovers. I put them in our microwave for 1 minute and when I pulled it out it was still really cold. I thought it was weird so I put them back in the microwave for 2 minutes. As I waited I noticed that the microwave had a funny smell and as I pulled out my food, it was just as cold as when I first put it in.

I emailed our maintenence guys telling them the terrible news. This morning when Noah and I left for school we said a hopeful goodbye to our old, crappy, no turn table microwave knowing that it probably would somehow be magically fixed and semi work for the rest of our adventures in this apartment.

But boy was I wrong and when I got home this afternoon from student teaching, this is what I found:

It is seriously the biggest microwave I have seen in my entire life. It takes up basically the whole counter next to the stove and the turn table is a good 1 1/2'! We could easily cook a whole casserole in it no sweat!

It does have some nice features that I have already taken advantage of however. These include:
* a popcorn setting button- it cooks popcorn perfectly.
* a Turn Table!!!! Now I dont have to worry about turning our food every two minutes to make sure it is cooked thoroughly.
* It has a warmer button to keep your food nice and warm before eating- I have never seen this before on a microwave, but I guess it might come in handy someday :)

There you have it, the newest edition to the Myers Family. The giant microwave.

Daniel and Sarah's Wedding

My oh my! Sorry I haven't blogged in so long! Things have been quite busy in the Myers home. This Christmas break was so fun! We called it our "Tour of Utah" break. We spent Christmas Eve with Noah's family, then rushed to my parent's house to Skype with cute Elder Startup who is doing great and comes home in July! The next day we headed down to sunny St. George to go to our friend Daniel's wedding.

It was the perfect weather in St. George while we were there and we almost forgot that it was even winter!

It really was the most beautiful day, not a cloud was in the sky!

The happy couple!

look at the details of her dress! Oh my goodness, Love!

The boys

This is the view from the reception, gorgeous!

And, for all the fun details:

I just had to throw this picture that Noah captured in. How great is this?!

What a fun time we had. Congrats Sarah and Daniel!
