Our little car is feeling under the weather...

Four years ago I purchased this little beauty of a car. It was the best car, had the best trunk for storage, got great gas milage, etc.

We became really good friends over the years.
Two weeks ago Noah and I went and payed the last payment on my loan and my beautiful car was actually mine!!! To celebrate, we went to yummy Rumbi grill! It was such a happy day!
However, on Monday, Noah and I noticed that the breaks were acting kind of funny, so we parked the car and decided to see if they were acting up the next morning. They unfortunately were, so my dad came up after work and added break fluid and checked some things out.

The next morning my dad went to check on our little car, and it wouldn't start at all. They had to have a tow truck come and get it- which they told me it was a little tricky because we had parked in our underground parking garage- a little tight for a tow truck, but they magically got the car out. We didn't think that it was going to be a big problem, just a quick fix.

Unfortunately, we found out that the timing chain had lost its tension and now we are just waiting for the word from the mechanic to see if our little car is going to be able to be brought back to life, or if it is going to have to be retired.

So, only time will tell, but we have our fingers crossed for the best results and we will let you know:)

I was told once. You can either make car payments or repair payments. its an evil cycle.. I hope it can be saved! My timing belt snapped on me once. expensive fix, but it can be fixed. i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I am so sorry. We paid off our car and then two weeks later I totalled it! Sometimes owning a car just stinks!
